As a Certified Service Center, United Radio Communications Division is dedicated to providing quality and effective repairs that will keep our customers satisfied for years to come.

As a dealer for ICOM and Motorola, we perform both in and out-of-warranty repairs on most two-way portable and mobile radios. Our parts department stocks an extensive inventory, which allows us to repair your products in a timely fashion.
Our qualified technicians and customer service representatives make United Radio a leader in two-way radio repairs. Each technician is trained on a particular manufacturers’ product, enabling him or her to become an expert on that product line. We provide ongoing training and certification programs to keep our technicians up to date with industry advancements. Our CSS certified representatives provide our customers with a superior service experience.

United Radio understands that two-way radio equipment operates 24/7, 365 days per year. Your equipment endures high levels of wear and tear as well as unforeseen utilization damage. Regular maintenance and awareness of critical issues before they interfere with effective operation is critical to your equipment’s lifespan. Proactive maintenance saves time, money and ensures safety.

Annual Preventative Maintenance Evaluation includes:

  • Physical inspection of all equipment covered in the agreement.
  • Clean, dust and remove any contaminants inside and out.
  • Measure, test and restore to factory settings.
  • Ensure accurate transmitting and receiving frequencies in accordance with ECC license.
  • Record battery voltage, condition, and life.
  • Check VSWR power of mobiles and repeaters.
