United Radio to participate in MACNY sponsored October Manufacturing Month event

October 3, 2024 October is recognized by New York State as the statewide celebration of manufacturing? Last year, MACNY, The Manufacturers Association and Partners for Education & Business, Inc. (PEB) engaged nearly 400 students and educators in learning about career pathways with local companies and the products they produce through tours and hands-on activities. This year, United Radio will again participate the partnership with MACNY  by inviting students and educators to witness the remanufacturing innovation and ingenuity in action in our Syracuse campus. On Thursday, October 24, a dozen or so juniors and seniors from the OCM BOCES Innovations Technology Program  will participate in a tour of the Syracuse campus led by Mike Fabery and Laverne Mcinnis. “This is an opportunity to engage high school students and ignite their interest in local manufacturing careers that are available here at United Radio,” said Mike Fabery.
