United Radio has named Heather Reed as its new Communication Division General Manager. As the newest member of the United Radio family, we asked Heather a few questions:
Q. Why did you choose to take the Communications General Manager’s position?
A. I chose to take the Communications General Manager position because I believe the culture and core values of the company are directly aligned with my own core values.
Q. What did you and where did you work before taking this position?
A. I served for several years as a Commercial Manager at M&T Bank where I enjoyed working with a diverse group of customers. I managed the bank’s largest commercial client portfolio out of the Upstate NY office.
Q. What skills do you bring to the position?
A. I bring several years of relationship building experience to my new role as Communications General Manager. I plan to utilize my experience in leadership, relationship management, and communications as well as my business development skills to grow the Communications Division. I am looking forward to working with existing customers and to developing new relationships in order to accomplish my goal!
Q. What drew you to United Radio?
A. The reputation of the company. United Radio is a highly regarded company, and recognized as influential leaders in our community.
Q. What are some of the plans your have in your first 100 days?
A. Right now my focus is to build relationships with the team and clients.
