| Product Flow Technician (Communications) - Syracuse, NY |
| | Summary: Unpack and distribute all incoming units to appropriate departments. Package and ship all out going units so they arrive undamaged at their proper destination.
Full Time 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
Responsibilities: Load/unload delivery trucks. Package and ship all out going packages daily, keeping packages sorted between all carriers. Assemble cardboard containers or select preassembled containers. Use handtruck and/or cart to move, or convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving to storage or work area. Answer all shipping inquires regarding rates, which carrier to use. Keep shipping and garage area clean and safe. Transport mail and packages between our buildings occasionally. Comply with UR policies & procedures, and quality systems. Perform related duties as requested.
Qualifications: Team player with the ability to work independently. Ability to effectively use a keyboard. Detail-oriented. Organized. Valid/Clean NYS drivers license. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. HS Diploma or equivalent is necessary.

| Field Service Technician (Communications) - Syracuse, NY |
| | Summary:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair, electronic equipment associated with wireless communications systems. Interface directly with customers to ensure mission critical systems operate at maximum efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic communications systems at the system and component level. Create and maintain end-to-end documentation associated with communications system installation and maintenance. Provide emergency on call service to maintain mission critical systems. On-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
Qualifications: Excellent Customer Service skills. Experience with wireless communications and computer network topology is desired. Experience with conventional or trunking communications equipment is desired. Valid N.Y.S. driver's license and a good driving record.
Education and/or Experience: Formal electronics training. Two years field service experience preferred. Experience with RF transmitter and receiver theory. Experience with computer network installation and maintenance. Individuals with ETA or ISCET (Associate or Journeyman certification), Cisco (CCNA, CWNA, Aironet Wireless LAN-Site Survey), Motorola (ASTRO, Spectrum24, Air Defense, RFS, RFID), IEEE 802.11x, BICSI certifications preferred. Must have strong computer skills. Project management experience is a plus.
